Sunbeam Lair eventually, the world stood in our way

Ukko bites his tongue and stiffens when he sees her getting closer, baring his teeth in her direction, and he quickly steps aside to avoid it. As much as he wishes to rattle his teeth in her face, he keeps himself from doing so, and instead his new, fiery orange gaze hardens. 

I do not want to lose you.

He snorts once, feeling a wave of smoke roll in his mind. He hadn’t realized how angry he’d be, after all, for something to happen out of his control. It isn’t as if she’d gone off after she’d met him and taken him in but instead hide information him that make things a little different.

“Maybe you should have thought of that before now,” he growls then before turning and without anything to hold him back, disappears from the lair.
