"I know your name, silly." He said with a smile. "You gave it to me when we met, do you think I'd forget?" He raised a brow at her, still smiling at his gentle teasing. "Huh. Sky. I didn't know that, though, that you spoke French. Wolves back where I was from spoke French, too. Did you come from the North?" Heston, though he didn't know the name, had been born within the Canadian Wilderness. The wolves there had a different accented French than Spring, though his ear likely wasn't learned enough to detect it. Still, it was a language he had heard before. "I wish I'd taken the time to learn it now. I was more interested in learning to hunt than languages, and since neither of my parents spoke it...I never had to learn. Did both your parents speak it?"

He paused for a minute, seriously regretting his decision to not learn French in the past. He could have surprised her and swept her off her feet just now by uttering some fancy french sentence. He vaguely remembered a handful of words, but they were all curses and that was likely the only reason he remembered them at all. He thought it best not to attempt, lest he call her something horrible. "Can you speak French for me?" He asked, ears perking with interest.
