The male was a little caught off guard. Usually, he had a story already on the tip of his tongue. But he didn't this time. "Ah...sure. How about...a tale of a wandering pair, perhaps?" he asked, curious to know if she would like the idea of that. However, he planned on having a twist on the end. He loved giving twists.
He cleared his throat, ready to begin. "Once, in a far off land, there were two wolves. They were lovers, always stuck together. And they never strayed from one another. They only knew each other, and spent their time only together, and with no others. Their world was just the two of them, and their journey. They one day came to a forest, where they decided to spend a night. Little did they know, there was something nearby." He smiled lightly at her, waiting for a response to his climacitc suspense.
