With her attention elsewhere, the russet girl remained oblivious to her brother that bounded after her. That was the case until she heard him call out to her in his bark, and not a moment later the russet girl was facing her younger brother. She had already long forgotten about the vole as her brother was much more interesting, especially considering how he didn't seem like the type to get out much. She walked towards him and aimed to give her brother a friendly nudge to the shoulder.
"Hawww" the girl squeaked out with all her might and took a step back at the sudden shock of being able to somewhat say what she intended. Usually her words came out in gibberish, but somehow she had managed to say a part of what she wanted. Haw, Ro, and T were about the only words she knew, with the exception of her own name and the word "no" which was usually directed towards her two older siblings. "Haww" she repeated again, this time followed by an abundant of giggles.
