Yet there was something about her companion's tale that gave her hope. "They survived?" The words on her tongue tasted bittersweet. Would there be hope for her family? "Are they here now?" She could  feel her claws curve into rhe rock below, scraping at the layer of green algae that clung to its form. Would there be a chance that she could be reunited with her family as well?
