Stone Circle Its The Good Life
Sometimes you just have to throw on a crown and show them who they're dealing with.

All Welcome
For the first time since her children had been born, Amber moved further from the den, even exiting the birth forest altogether to venture into the meadow. She'd left @Grayday in charge of the ever growing and strong @Sunny and @Dawn for the time being, and though it'd taken her a full twenty minutes to leave sight of the den entrance, anxiety thrumming in her chest with every step away she'd taken, it was a literal breath of fresh air to be up and moving again. It was different, not feeling the weight of five pups in her belly, to be able to move above a waddle -- she could barely remember a time where she hadn't carried their bulk and nourished them within her, the feeling of curling around their tiny, soft bodies still very much still new to the Ciel.

There were many hours in each day that she thought of @Spring and @Heston and @Natashe, wondering if they would come to see their niece and nephew when the message arrived to them. She planned to ask @Steady's permission on this first, of course, but who to send was another problem. She'd hoped Dagfinn would be close enough she could ask him, but the ebony starwatcher hadn't so much as scented him since the trip. Grayday wasn't an option -- she wanted him close with her and the kids, especially in such young months when they needed constant supervision. Who, then, would send word to her siblings -- both adopted and blood -- that their family had been extended?
They, unlike Day, she would not tell of the three that didn't survive: she didn't want to hear the "I told you so"s or the pity, nor did she want to hurt them in her failure. She also worried they would ask what happened to them, maybe to visit the graves -- isn't that what normal women did with their stillborns?

Sighing, Amber put all the worries in the back of her mind, and set her paws loose in the open expanse of land that was her new home -- no matter how much she missed the soft earth of Silver Creek, the flashing waters abundant with easy prey, littered with the scents of her family -- and galloped gaily towards the stone circle itself. There was little care for the ivory powder covering the way, which her tossing ankles caused to pour over the field a second time.
Tagging for visibility, anyone is welcome to join and see Amber for the first time without her kids xD
