Ravenshook Cliffs the land runs out into the sea

this day had been her nightmare. the overcast skies were ominous to deirdre who was left much, but given no tools to properly aid her. much was happening, and so when emaleth's call came deirdre could only feel relief. her loved ones had left her, the family she so wished to keep together, though twas emaleth deirdre most wished for. in all of her selfless life, emaleth had been her one selfish desire. her darker sister had always been distant, but deirdre loved her. deirdre had thought she needed emaleth most when their father had passed, but her departure had proven otherwise. it was now the almost-yearling craved emaleth most, when she felt so uncertain! emaleth balanced her, and she felt grounded by her very voice.

it was a weary deirdre who came to face emaleth, who, for a foreign reason, did not simply come home. it mattered not, for deirdre believed that soon, soon, she would have her sister with her again. deirdre met emaleth with a weary look from all that had come to pass, but in seeing her it was obvious a significant amount of weight lifted from her burdened shoulders.
