Firefly Glen a smoke and a beer go together like a piss and a fart

Some sort of weird deer, she decided. fat, larger and without a set of horns, though definitely male. her brow furrowed as she watched it from afar, eyes set on it as she tried to figure out exactly what had gone so wrong with the deer to have it turn out thus. her hunger had been sated a while ago, and even if it had not been, she would not have eaten this thing.

deciding staring was a poor plan, she stood, shaking the snow from her pelt with a stiff shake and approaching at a casual walk, stopping suddenly when the thing decided to roll in the snow a moment. taken aback, it was a moment before she continued,  calling out as she approached, "Hey! Weird deer!" 

if her approach were not enough to catch attention,  her words ought to, and hopefully drive home the point that she was none the least interested in eating him, merely finding out what, exactly, he was.
