God, he was cute.  Butterfly's fluttered through her stomach as he licked her chin, she found it polite and so sweet all at once.  He was almost killing her with his adorableness.  She nodded once when he asked her if she fished.  "Of course Cortland.  Are you hungry?"  She replied with both an answer and a question.

She glanced up at the flakes falling from the sky as they drifted to the ground.  She blinked a little surprised as a few icy cold snowflake fell on her nose and a shiver ran through her body.  They were so pretty, but jeez those snowflakes no matter how pretty were cold.
