Silver Creek penny dreadful

His little secretive talk about Mona almost made her laugh at the sillyness of it, but she caught herself having been a Mother before and just widened her eyes just a little bit, acting surprised and gave a few nods of her head.  "Wow Cortland, that's really interesting," she told him with a smile.  "Now how 'bout I go get you something to eat?"  She asked him, moving on to the subject of food.  Then she made her way towards the fish.

It only took her a little bit to get to the fish and hten picking it up she made her way back to Cortland.  She then laid it at his paws and used her fangs to pull away some skin on the belly and side of the fish so that it would be easy for Cortland to eat.  Then just in case she decided to ask him if he was even able to eat meat on his own yet, unassisted.  "Hey Cortland, can you eat meat on your own yet?"  She asked him in a sweet tone, while dearly hoping that he would not lie and say he could when he really couldn't yet.
