Silver Creek penny dreadful

He made quick work of the food and she was glad to see that he could eat on his own now.  She almost found herself beaming at the mention that he as enjoying her kill.

"Thank you Cortland, I'm glad you like it."  She paused for a moment, "and I actually caught it in our Creek which is bigger than a stream."  She informed him kindly.  She guessed that he probably had meant the creek but instead had said a stream not knowing the difference, but it was still good for the little guy to know the differences between the two bodies of water for future reference.
