footsteps on snow alerted the boy that something was near, and warily he halted his feasting, eyes fastening on a russet woman a distance away, seeming not to have noticed him, or simply in no mood to approach him. being quite full, and hardly in the mood to go back to his meal now, especially with the other so near, he watched her a moment before letting out a soft chuff, ocean-blue gaze fastened on her. he scented the air and found her scent to be of pack, though which he did not know. Never the less, the scent was remembered, as he waited to see whether or not she would notice or address him.
