Miraak leaned against the wall of the Web, silently watching with pride burning in his chest as Potema named her children. He recognized the names and knew them to be in accordance with the Melonii tradition: reaching back into history to inspire the future. His tail thumped in approval, watching the mongrel lot Potema bore.

His eyes were not totally fixated on his grand-nieces and nephews; Atshen appeared. The boy had grown much in the way of strength, but little in intelligence. Miraak's joy froze in his heart, though his smile remained, as he saw the eerie smirk cross Atshen's face. He knew what the boy was planning almost immediately, and took it to heart. While he had promised not to interfere in their fight, Nemesis' children had the upper hand of age. The playing field was not completely levelled yet. No, if they were going to plot and scheme murder, they would be mirrored on the opposite side by the newest Meloniis. With that, Miraak withdrew into the tunnels.
