she waited and waited, and though she tried to suppress her emotions, tried to tell herself that everything would be fine, she found that fear's grip on her was much stronger than she'd anticipated and wren soon found herself succumbing to the soft and malicious whispers that tickled her ears and forced liquid anxiety to run through her veins. still, the yearling didn't give up. she stood there, resilient, quietly waiting, hoping that she wouldn't be left alone somehow. though, if so, the likelihood was that she would wait unitl someone came.

however, wren didn't need to wait long. soon, a figure appeared in the distant and as it drew closer, she identified it as an agouti woman. unconsciously, the arctic girl shifted so her posture was a tad bit more submissive than it had been before - perhaps, she was trying to increase her chance of getting in and gaining their favour. awkwardly, the girl returned the smile - she'd never been good with strangers..she'd always been a bit socially isolated and shy, but she managed. "hi," wren said, clearing her throat in an adorably awkward manner. "yes, I'm looking for a home," she nodded, then looked sheepishly away. "sorry for calling in this weather," wren apologised meekly, shuffling her paws. 

"i'm an aspiring gamekeeper, warrior and healer. and i can scout as well," she offered.
