Though Eimear felt quite similarly as Rian, she was better about sticking around the pack, better about helping out whenever it was needed. It wasn't that she felt superior to Rian, but there were things she thought she did do better. But that didn't matter when Eimear truly thought it through; her brother was distant because he was in pain, and she wanted to help him, too. It seemed Eimear Kalis was the helpful type.
Soon she found Rian sprawled beneath the boughs of a large pine, nestled inside a hovel that seemed half-dug. It might have made her laugh if Rian's face wasn't so serious.
