It is with great reluctance that Athan leaves Mazatl with Bane. Though he follows him as if he is their leader, Athan has his doubts about the pale wolf's underlying intentions with the deer-like wolf, even since first seeing him come so hungrily towards him. But he doesn, unable to feed from the already thin male any longer. It was with great pain however, knowing quick the boy would be to follow. He leaves without a word, making sure Mazatl is distracted before making his move away from their band of mercs, his paws sloshing in the muddy ground, the only noise he made the suck of his paws as they were freed from the mud, the ghost quiet as he prowled in search of new blood.
