Ares words took more than a second to connect the stranger's words to what they meant to him. In an uncharacteristic manner, the boy's face showed this process as his features twisted accordingly. When the realization his hit, suspicion quickly darkened his appearance as he looked at the other wolf. Personally, he couldn't see it.
