Nim gave her answer to the examination and slowly, reluctantly, extends her leg out. Adeline carefully approaches so that she does not startle her more than she has already and is slow to get close to the wound. Her nose wrinkles at the sight of it but she doesn’t really know what to do with it and she glances toward Grayday for some guidance. If she knew more, or if she’d gone to Phiipa sooner, she may have known what to do but she holds her breath in the meantime, listening to the woman speak even though she doesn’t understand what they’re being told.
