He said, a happy rumble in his chest. For a moment she was quiet and he started to back away. But then she spoke again, and he looked back to her. He beamed, watching as she looked down to the children.

It wasn't exactly the right time, with her being so tired, but he couldn't help himself. "Je t'aime aussi." He whispered in return, flashing a mischievous grin. She would likely not realize that he knew how to say more though, for it would have been simple enough to have Natashe tell him this phrase. That surprise he would save. "I have, for a while now I think." He reached to kiss her gently, and then began to back away again. "Sleep, and rest. I'm not going anywhere."
