Somehow, Ra ended up seeing the woman before she smelled her. Perhaps it was because she had been so intent on the woman's scent a moment before, noting its presence - faint but sure - between the trees. She'd thought the scent just a ghost of the one she'd studied, but here was the woman, in the flesh.
"Heya," Ra said with a cheerful flicker of her tail. "Yu de plan kom goufas, sha?" Of course, there was more than one mother in the pack, but in Ra's mind, all mothers seemed to bleed together. She'd not interacted with many nursing women, and truthfully, she didn't care to.
But the woman was pack, and aside from that, she was comely. Ra would not be unkind to her. In fact, she would do her best to be a shining model of friendliness.
