Sunspot hadn't missed that Liri had failed to answer her question, and she'd worried, for a moment, that the male would take that badly and decide to chase Liri off their lands. Even now, Sunspot contemplated it, knowing that she couldn't allow a stranger into these lands without at least extracting a verbal promise of goodwill.
