Scimitar had been surprised, like many, when Fox had announced her decision to push Jace and Ferdie from the pack. He had known neither very well – in truth, he had only exchanged a few words with one of them and had partially helped his wounds after the fight, so he it was brought no distress on to him when they had left. Instead, it had left him wondering what kind of leader Fox was – not that her decision had darkened his thoughts of her in any manner.

He had heard the males claim to their new lands, sounding across the creek in what could have been considered a taunt. Apparently, Fox had not approved of this, and now, the cinnamon male strode easily behind the warrior Beta, his bright eyes focused upon the horizon as the mountain grew nearer. He was content to know Njal had sought him out – he had yet to prove himself to the regal male, and took this opportunity to do so as a breath of fresh air.

They paused at the base of a mountain, and stilling, the male’s eyes drifted to the silver male’s cheek. Like many a wolf, the agouti male desired to protect his pack from potential harm.. Njal, however, had much higher stakes – Tuwawi would give birth any day now, and soon the Creek would have a family that bore the male’s name. A flicker of ambition jabbed at his own chest in that moment with the thought that someday he too could have a mate that would be large with children of his own.. but for now, this was his family.

A brief nod was given in understanding – the Frostfur was ever the silent comrade, and with the orders given, his eyes swept among his companions, only recognizing the darker male. Without word he followed after Njal, the descent of the mountain he had once lived upon leaving a bitter taste in his mouth as he thought of Tuatha De. Perhaps his knowledge of the lands would be beneficial to the others.. but for now, he waited to share this knowledge. There was no time for talk.
