If the male moved any closer the guardian would lunge for him, but Valette stopped him with her words. He did not tear his icy blue gaze from the stranger, but he did heed her words at least a little. His tail still held high to show that he was to dominant male in the situation, he shifted in a more normal standing position as well. He was ready to fight if the male proved to be dangerous or made any advances on Valette, but until then he would only be cautious.

Ezekiel kept his stoical expression as the other male talked, his lip quivering for moments. Even if the other male truly meant no harm, he didn't like that he was out here near his Valette.
