Heron Lake Plateau giving the best of what's left

Djehanne's heart was beginning to race. If forced to fight, she wasn't sure she would be able to defend herself, but if she let the other wolf do as she so pleased, she would seem weak. Her breaths were shallow and bated as the hot air was huffed down onto the corpse. She felt the corpse move again so she responded with a quick snarl and a forced paw on the buck's chest. She glared at the dark femme with intense focus, then tore her teeth down into the foreleg and worked at dislocating it. Wait, Djehanne barked, her voice rough and scaly. 

Once the joints were out of place, she began to tear away at the skin around it, loosening it for the other to take. Go.
