Bobby began right away but he doesn’t hold them quite right. He lets it go, hoping he’ll figure it out and get to the end. His efforts don’t go unrewarded either but Arlo is too busy working on one of his one. He’s got it twisted in his mouth so his teeth try to crack at the edges. Eventually, he’s able to manage one tooth between each shell. A satisfying pops occurs and it breaks open like a clam and he drops it on the edge of the water. “You’ll need to make your hole a little bigger. And crack it from the sides on the next one,” he explains as his nose drops and he scoops the little gem of meat with his teeth out of its home.
