They had stories, and songs, and all the beauty in the world that they could offer. Catori would never regret that about her upbringing, no matter if she'd waited quite a bit to fly the nest. She nosed against Gray's scruff, giving a soft little hum at the near nostalgic tone to his voice. It seemed in that regard they'd almost had similar upbringings. He couldn't see her face properly, at least she didn't think he could from that angle, the way that he tucked his nose into her. 

"Think you'll ever go home?" Catori asked, her voice soft and quiet since they were so close. She didn't need to be too loud - she didn't want to be too loud either. She was happy as things were. She was happy with this even if she didn't know much more about him. He listened, and he was just as likely to open up to her too, and that was a rare quality.
