This was why Finley was a better alpha than Raven could ever hope to be: her aunt could see the whole forest, whereas Raven generally only saw trees. With a suddenness that almost startled her, Clover and Lucca fell into a screeching brawl over a crime of berries smashed into the face. Siblings liked to heckle one another, and this bunch was no different. She grinned quietly, watching them with avid affection and interest and thinking back on the days when she, Nightjar, and Wildfire had similarly ribbed each other.
