When he mentioned Liffey, she felt another flutter of irritation. She remembered how distressed Finley and Elwood had been when their daughter had decided to take off on her own. She wondered what had ever happened to the concept of pack loyalty, or -- specifically thinking of Liffey and Eljay -- if that had ever even been a concept to the Blackthorn kids.
