Regardless of whether or not that was actually the case, Raven thought it best to warn him: "There is a pack at Blackfeather Woods that captures and tortures wolves...for fun, I guess. They nearly killed my sister. I've been doing my best to keep her from dying after what they did to her. I wouldn't be surprised if the wolf who attacked you was one of them." Her eyes were earnest as she looked at him and beseeched him, "Please be careful if you go traveling away from your pack, especially if you go anywhere near those woods. You may even want to warn your alpha, just to be on the safe side." And protect Liffey, she thought, though she knew there was no need for her to voice it aloud.
