Northstar Vale and I've been waiting so long

Continuing her journey trhough the mountain range, Shiori made her way down from the Thunder Dome to find a valley. Her plan consisted on camping out at the Lair for a couple days, see if either Kaori or Airi happened about, and if they didn't she would have to make her way down to the Great Bear Wilderness where everyone supposed they could have left to before Ryujin disbanded. It was her best chance at finding them before the harsher days of winter fell upon the wilds.

While her general plans were clear Shiori still needed to figure out what to do with immediate problems, A.K.A a ravenous belly. Her nose was out for targets, guiding her through the calm, cold pastures down to a small creek, across which she spotted a loner with it's prey. Strangely enough the scent that stood out was his own instead of his prey's savaged internal organs, which seemed curious enough for Shiori to dare take a closer look, yapping to announce her presence as she approached from behind with calm posture and kind eyes.
