Sif was wandering through the hollow once more. Although she liked the valley in the mountains far better, she knew she needed to be close to Easthollow, where Wardruna could call her if he needed her, and where she could tend to Hella each day. Tired of eating fox, she'd ventured to the wood on Easthollow's other side, hoping to catch something less smelly for her friend.

Instead, she found herself tracking down the scent of yet another shewolf. Her trail was difficult for Sif to find, and she was almost ready to give up when the sound of a distant voice reached her ears.

"Hallo?" she called, trotting toward the sound. She had become far less skittish in the past several days; constant interaction was due to this in part, as was the abundance of women in the area. Women never chased Sif, after all. Only men chased.
