She was curious about the other female, but now was not the time for such conversation. She stalked on, her head lowered to the ground to keep the scent of the turkeys. 

It wasn't long before their noises reached Aviana's ears, and she paused. They were just a few yards before the pair of female wolves, scratching at the ground to find food under the snow. There were only a few, but Aviana didn't need more than that. She glanced to Aliac to see if she was ready for the chase.
