Her stomach gurgled again when Jinx asked uneloquently and curtly Why not? One look at Jinx's eyes told her that a sick excuse would not be enough. She scrambled to her feet, her ears flat on her head. "Madame, excuse me." She swallowed the bile in her throat that threatened to rise again. "Madame, pardonnez-moi, but I felt like I was about to zrow up for a second. Forgive me. I will....get on it right away..."
She felt nervous. Was she pregnant? One of the signs of pregnancy was nauseousness during the first trimester. She already suspected that Lecter and maybe even Kaname knew of her trist with Majesty. Would her sudden sickness be a clue that she was pregnant with his children and the fact that she had mated with Majesty?
