it had become obvious to troy, in his mind at least, that the teekon wilds had nothing to offer him for the winter. he did not have the desire to keep covering land in search for somewhere to shack up, and though he admittedly had not traveled much he figured it'd be better to return from whence he came and give it a shot down there.
but the further he got to the border of the country, the stronger pack-scent got, and he figured if it would save him some travels he might as well give it a shot.
lifting his maw to the air, he let out a deep and ringing call for the pack's leaders and prayed to god that it was worth joining.
