The sun had gone down and the winter wind was picking up. At first the light snow didn't effect Astor at all. She kept a keen notice to when the wind would change and blow, but for not it was managable. But as she flew over the meadow and there was very little that broke the wind speed it became less so. The wind was picking up, if it were steady she would of had a better time with it, but with frequent gusts of different severity, she simply wanted to wait it out.

Unfortunatly she was over a meadow, open and almost void of trees. She saw aways ahead of her, on the meadows southern edge, some cottonwood trees. That was her goal for now. She tired to push through the wind and at times ended up falling below her usual flying path, looking frantic from any lookers on.

She she reached the trees she almost missed the branch, scraping some of the bark off before grabbing hold. After regaining her balance by flapping her wings she held them close to her and simply waiting. Eyeing the meadow .
