It didn't seem like the wolf was going to give up that easily, pushing though her injury as she continued to chase after the animal. But in the end the marmot got the best of this wolf and ended up getting away.
Astor thought about going after the creature herself and bringing it back to the wolf. Either for her effort or to flaunt it in her face. But the marmot was alot bigger then the hawk and she in the end would also be very unfortunate. She followed the chase and ended up perched in a tree where the wolf now stood.
Looking down at her she commented, "It gotcha pretty good, didn't it?" she said asking a rehetorical question.
