Yep, that'll do 'er. 'S all I wanted to know.  Good thing, too.  Hate to see anyone kick the bucket.  He detected her cautious tone — what was it with women being so nervous around him? — but didn't give it too much thought.

Sorry, li'l lady, I don't think it'll suit me much.  But that's not what I meant anyway.  Packs?  I'd rather not travel over those darn mountains again.
