Murdock's arrival did not slip past Steph, whose gaze was pointed at him. There was no anger there any longer, only sadness. She didn't know if they would ever make up, but she was under the assumption that since Murdock had Poppy, he didn't need her any longer. Otherwise, he would have come for her, wouldn't he?

Valette began to speak and Steph's attention turned to her, excitement welling up in her at being able to watch the hunt. The other's took off and Steph ran to the edge of the Stone Circle, making sure not to go any further. She knew if she did anything wrong, Valette wouldn't let her watch again, let alone participate.
