He felt his heart stop for a beat upon hearing that from his own father. And then, he was ultimately surprised by what Vaati said in response. Was it possible he did not like Kjalaar either?
"I...I..." He could find no words, and then Caiaphas stepped in front on him, and he stepped back behind her. He felt like just curling into a ball, hearing his own father he revered as a teacher, call him that. He hadn't even seen his mother for so long.
Arrille moved along, his eyes to his paws as Caiaphas nudged him back the way they came. He dared not look back.
