Sorrel watched Pema approach, then sniffed at the herbs which she had dropped with her characteristic curiosity. She huffed, looked back up at her guardian with hesitation, then began to nip at the pile. It was a different taste, without a doubt, but not one that Sorrel necessarily minded.
