Cyclone wasn't actually hitting on her brother. (Right?) She smirked at him, then wondered if she actually wanted to stay here. Sure, there was security in family, but she'd just spent the past few days trying to outrun and outsmart her way away from Fern. Maybe she needed to be on her own for awhile. Actually, that was sounding better and better with each passing moment.
"Can you just... tell Fern to back off?" she asked, cocking her head to one side and putting on her Serious™️ face for a moment. "I wanna go off and do stuff on my own, y'know? I'm not a pup anymore." Cyclone would be three years old in just a few short months, and she didn't want Fern fixing all her mistakes for her. "I mean if she swings by here. And maybe tell Finley I said hello." Cy didn't remember much about her, but she had heard plenty of stories about the wild child.
