Luckily, after the hare had escaped Nara's paws, Wraen was already back on track. Nara shook her head to lessen the sting of the blow. She quickly got to her feet again and hurried after the pair. 
Although chasing the animal was all fun and games in the beginning, it had become serious when the hare decided to kick her in the nose. Now Nara was even more determined to catch it and when it made a different turn than Wraen, she might have a chance to do so, as it was now running in her direction.
Nara dashed forward and came closer with every step. But as luck would have it, her bad leg gave out for a second and she almost collided with the ground. As she tried to steady herself again, the hare had already gained on her. Fortunately Wraen was nearby.
