Blackfeather Woods unintended worship

She’d spent most of the morning with @Kove, enjoying his company as she always does, though she can’t help but wonder if it is only because they have a shared heritage. If another from the north resided with them, would she prefer one over the other? Would she see through whatever charade (if any) Kove has shown her? She can’t deny she’s blinded by the familiarity, keeping close to him so she doesn’t feel alone. Struggling with the language barrier with someone as easy as a child proves the difficulty she’ll have with the other adults, of whom she barely knows.
 
The leader departed when he had other business to attend to and she awkwardly meanders through the glen where they’d been together. There is still so little she knows about the territory, not sure what she’s allowed to go and where she isn’t, but she knows she is safe here. There are no children young enough for her to be a threat, making the glen empty but finding herself comfortable to become familiar.
