They threaded through the thick underbrush with silent steps. The creature's scent was easy to follow, but they had to spot it before it discovered that they were close.

When its hoofprints became less discernible, she stopped. The boar probably quit running somewhere around here, thinking it was safe. I think we're close she whispered and put her nose to the air. I don't smell other scents, so it must be alone. and just a breath later she saw movement. It was the boar - alone, and it didn't seem to notice that they were near.
