alkaia traveled onwards, not sure exactly where she wanted to go or what she wanted to do. travel far from here, spread the bloodline, that’s what her mother asked, no, told her to do. but where could she begin? was she even ready? the warrior shook her head furiously. of course she was ready! her mother had chosen her to carry out this life changing mission over her sister. she had to be, right? 

the female stayed lost in her own thoughts until she spotted a body of water. the sight caused a thirst to rise in her and she happily made her way towards the lake. when she noticed the boy in front of her, she skidded to a halt. alkaia took a few steps back and crouched in hopes she was out of his sight.
