Dagger did not hear the coyote approaching, as she was too busy focusing on her goal of breaching the trees. She could see a break ahead and was getting nearer to whatever was outside the forest. Had she seen the coyote, she would have stopped and greeted them, but as it was, she simply continued moving. The fog did not let up and gave the forest a spooky air, but Daggerjaw was not one to become spooked easily. It was only fog, and she rather enjoyed the creepy vibe it gave off. Grinning to herself, she sped up her pace a bit, still completely unaware of the other canid nearby…
