her fur stood on end when the boy noticed her. she hoped that maybe he was looking at something else, but knew full well that wasn’t the case. what was she supposed to do? attack? no, there was no need for bloodshed. she decided that her best option was to stay frozen. her mother had told her to steer clear of males unless necessary and she had been doing well up until now, so she didn’t know how else to react.
