Wallflower dutifully followed after her unit pack members, keeping to herself. She ate alone, as usual, and treated her own wounds now she had gotten a slight glimpse at what had to be done. Plants felt good, but she had made some wounds only worse with the wrong plants. She cared little for the stinging patches as they were opened again and again by her constant movement. She couldn't afford being a bother to these wolves.

They arrived. It was rocky and less home-y than their former home, but whatever worked for what she assumed the new leading pair. In a moment of instinct, Wallflower also lifted her muzzle to let out a hoarse song of her own, joining in with the others who had not suffered the smoke of a forest fire.
