she did not press as the conversation between them lapsed to silence.  instead she closed her eyes and continued to soak herself.  she had just begun to tenderly work out her pelt with her teeth when he responded.  she did not make to move from her grooming, though her eyes found his as she continued for a moment.  once she was satisfied she offered, alright.

she slowly made her way from the springs, her tired muscles renewed, and shook out her dense pelt.  wait here.  thankfully for the boy, springtime was in full now — medicinal herbs were easy to find.  she came back with a mouthful.
