This is really short and crappy but it's 5am and I still haven't gone to bed. I was hell-bent on getting all my replies done and this is the last one lol.

Hell hath no stubbornness like a Redhawk in a disagreement, or something like that. There was a lot of dirt and hair stuck to the wound, but the gentle motion of her tongue washed it away so it could knit together with less risk of infection. A pointed glance from her yellow eyes indicated that she intended to do this with every other mark on his body until she was satisfied. This was her mate, her love -- she would not settle down to dine in comfort while he wandered around bleeding and bruised.
